    Incubator Temperature sitting high...

I got the proportional thermostat running set to 87... but when i go back after a couple hrs the temp inside the incubator is hovering around 90 at the middle of the fridge and it doesn't move from there... thermostat just stays off and the incubator keeps the temperature....

now my question is do i need to drill some small holes in the top to act as a vent so the hot air escapes and the thermostat works a bit harder but keeps the temps where i want it ... or just drop the temp on the thermostat to 86 and let the incubator be at 89deg.
also i do have a digital thermostat which i have confirmed the matching temps just to make sure.

it's a mini bar fridge... 2 fans top and bottom... and water bottles in the door and bottom of the incubator.... aprox 12 or so.

    input would be great... thanks..

    TIA
