    Tight hide

    Hi guys

I just got my Reptile Basics hide boxes in the mail today. I ordered 2 small hides. My snake seemed to like it but when he's in the hide it looks a bit tight.
At first my snake had a little trouble getting in it but now he's totally inside of the hide. It looks pretty tight in there but he fits. Is it possible for a ball python to become uncomfortable from being a little too snug? Should I order the next size up? (I'm scared the next size up will be alot bigger.)
new ball python owner. baby male pastel named igor.

If he fits I'm sure he likes it. Its not a bad idea to have the next size up so your ready when its time for a larger one. I will put moss in hides that are to large to make it feel more secure.

I will often order the size I need plus the next size up to save on shipping.
