    Going against conventional wisdom... :)

Gotta love the FedEx truck!!! J

Not having to worry about ‘return on my investment’ (in the classical sense) is kinda nice, sometimes. I’m not a breeder, so I’m not so worried about whether or not my animals can ‘give back’ to me later on down the line with offspring that I can sell.

To that end – I just picked up a GORGEOUS Desert Enchi girl…and she’s incredible. At 450 grams, she’s as healthy as can be…and I got her from one of the nicest breeders you could hope to work with. Jhaven is THA’ MAN!!!

We named her Myrtle (as in ‘Infertile Myrtle’), and I love her to pieces. The name struck me as hilarious, and very fitting.

Her coloring, banding, funky pattern, and arrowhead headstamp are EXACTLY what I was hoping for…and I’m proud to call her one of my babies.

Just felt like sharing, ya’ll. Have a good week!

Beautiful animal. Not everything has to be looked at as how much money can I make with this. There are still some people that just enjoy the beauty of an animal and have no plans to breed. Congratulations.
