FEEDING PROBLEM, not sure what to do???

My son's ball python has not eaten for 4 weeks. She usually eats one adult mouse (frozen) once a week. She has never done this before. She shed about 4 weeks ago, so when she first refused I thought it was because she was going to shed. She shed about 3 weeks ago. Her skin is starting to look dull again. Can she be shedding again, that close together? She is 16 months old.

At that age she should be eating more than one mouse, and should probably be on rats. But so long as your husbandry is good, temps, security all that good stuff I wouldnt worry about a 4 week break. And she very likely could be going into shed again.

Babies usually shed monthly, so it's possible that she's going into blue again.

As for her feeding, make sure the husbandry is correct and just offer her food weekly. I second the notion of larger prey/rats. Good luck with her.

We feed them more than they need, while your prey sounds like it could be bigger she obviously is content for now. I would follow some of the other post and verify your husbandry is correct, if all is right she just isn't into food right now perfectly normal.
