    Yellowbelly bps

Hey all, I have a friend that really likes yellowbelly morphs, but I don't know why there's a hype around yellowbellies. I know that their not visually distinct on their own, but even cross bread they don't seem that interesting to me.

    My yb girl:

Yellowbelly makes just about everything better

Turns up the flames, and often times brightens up the color! What's not to love?

Slightly red, but more black. Purple hues and slight purple pattern all over it's body and more around her tail. And then the quintessential Ivory yellow stripe down his back. She is breathtaking in person. I plan on putting a blacklight on her once she calms down, I suspect she may have some Jungle Woma pattern that will show up!

Not visually distinct on their own

and het red axanthic yellowbelly ...

yellowbelly's are a gene used to enhance other combo's but selectively bred they can be pretty dang hot as a single gene too imo.

make sure to post pictures of this! a digital camera should pick up the fluorescence, if it can deal with the overall darkness.

EDIT: and on topic: Its just an awesome gene because of the stunning super-form, the ivory, and because of the combos in that gene complex. like yellowbelly + specter gives you superstripe, and yellowbelly + spark gives puma. its more or less comparable to maybe mystic/phantom or mojave, it can be quite nice on its own and in combos, but makes block-rocking combos with other genes in the complex, and these make the difference.

Oh, if it pans out I plan on photos and a video of it. I am letting her settle in fgirst, but hopeful with all her purple pattern and hues she will just glow under a dark light!
