    feeding options

I have a lesser male who ate once 3 weeks ago...and 1 time a month or so before that.....Ive had him since december 27th (weight when recieved 659grams)....he gained weight and last weighed in at 669grams (1 week ago)....after fluctuating between 700 and 655 grams since ive had him (some of the weights were measured a few days to a week or so after eating). He now weights in at 660 grams....anything to be concerned about?

    Thanks

I don't think there is anything to worry about right now just keep offering him his rat make sure your temps and everything are correct and just let him be. If you're worried about him you could offer him an asf rat but then e might only want those.. But ya just try to keep offering it to him.

How old is he? He could be eating less due to the time of year, but double-check your husbandry just to make sure there isn't something else throwing him off of feeding more consistently.

My breeder male pastel will refuse sometimes but I'll offer again in a couple of days and he will feed. I can tell when he and others want food, they will be rubbing the front of the tub looking for it.
