    Building my rack

I finally got started on my rack which I've been waiting to do for a long while. It's not complete yet but here it is so far it's a eight high rack in the works.

    With kindest regards,
    Adin.

So now I'm at the point where I need to order heat tape. I'm looking at Reptile Basics and they have the Heat Tape I need but their connection set requires a cripping tool which I don;t want to have to buy does anyone know where to get the Alligator clips that you can just use Vice Grips to clamp it to the heat tape?
    With kindest regards,
    Adin.

    They are not costly items.

I have reservations in using a craft tool (you can buy a martha stewart brand one if you want...) for an electrical connection but that is what they are using. They do however recommend, solder connections, as a first option. I personally would suggest rivets not little craft eyelets but solid copper rivets they are far more costly and complex to use.

I thought you were looking at the reptile basics heat tape and the crimped connector eyelets they are using now.

You might as well use the flexwatt it offers lower operational temps with mean a greater safety.
