what are th chance of a female not laying?

Roughly as of right now I have a female that above the 1500 gram weight for breeding ( was last year as well) both times I had mutli-locks with the same male. last year she never did anything and so far this year she's not showing any signs of doing anything this year. (my het pied is showing all the signs of possible being gravid and we didn't even start pairing her until end of January). I raised both females since I got them as very young hatchlings(under 80 grams)
I really wanting to prove the het pair to as they both 100% het joliff axanthic and possible het albino ( sire was 100% het albino and visible axanthic and dam was possible het ) SO I looking and hoping to prove them out, I wondering if there anything I can do provide to increase the chances of her producing eggs. My wife wants me to sell/adopt them out cause they not produce anything in the last 2 seasons I tried.

1 option we are considering the idea of tossing in our visible albino male in to see if he will lock with her and if she produces eggs then we may have to look into the possible deal of my male being sterile.

First, I'd resex her to make sure it is a her. I doubt the male is sterile. It is possible, but I'm assuming something is just going on with her. Even tho she is of size, she may not be ready to go. I'd keep pairing. Palpate ever so often to see if you can feel any building...

I have a couple of females that have given me eggs one season out of three, no fun but I stick with them as they are huge morph females.

oh she about 4-5 years old now I waited until 3rd year and I wait until at least 1600grams min for my personal taste. then each year after ( breeding wise ) she must be 300-400 grams heavier than the year before (breeding weight ) to breed again.
    example
my proven het pied female was 1620 first year I breed her, second year 1800 ( she got put into the wrong tub when I was cleaning sucks when you got a tub and there the male in it( she slugged out) but then this past season she laid for me and was over 2000 grams. and we figure to see if she would go third year just for :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r: and giggles and she weight around 2400+ grams when we started. if she goes great if not no big lost I just want to prove out my het axanthics pair I had for 5 years now. I love to prove them out as both axanthic and het albinos. cause they would earn a slot in my collection. as my only double het proven( I got a couple other snakes that are a co-dom morph possible het pied ( until proven out ) and a vpi axanthic that het albino ( but she got 43-4 years to go )

Don't give up on her just yet, I've had my fair share of frustration with a female not producing. I'm also not in favour of getting rid of an animal just because it doesn't yield desired results.

Give her another shot and fingers crossed she'll shoot you something magical

dang it I either cussed by acc or using bull c gets censored too. dang it lol. Oh if it a infraction it one I can't edit out. I guess it happens when you trying faster than you can edit your thoughts lol .

Oh I going to finish this year out with using him and if nothing happens try a different male next year. and if she won't breed then I be upset. we probed her 3-4 times since I gotten her and she came out as female every time. If she don't do anything next year ( with a different male ) I just adopt her out as a pet since she not producing. I know she one of our more hissy snakes.

Are you only pairing her during a certain time of the year? I had a female that I had been attempting to breed for 4 years with no results. Finally, someone suggested pairing her year round for a year, and she went really late that year. It seems that they are not all on our schedule...

not tried that option but I guess it worth a shot as long as the male stays interested in her. I know she still eating when she in the tub alone. so that could be my problem she might be a fall layer instead of a spring ( we'll add that to the list to try out this year.)
