    Albinos

    Hey guy's just trying to figure out the going rate for Albinos. Seems here in Canada they go for 700 that seems steap to me. What are your thoughts?
    0.1 Normal ball
    1.0 Normal corn
    4 purple pichers
    and a few rats!

    Seems pricy . I see them go from anywhere from 300-450 in the US

    I paid 350 for my Albino make last year, I think it was around June, 140 something grams.

    And most places I look that is the price they are going for 350-400 in the States. But up here in Canada they go for 700. I don't get it, Albinos have been produced since 1992 I just don't understand how they still cost so much money.

    There's pet stores selling albinos for $500, so I'm not sure where you're getting $700 from unless it's a larger Bp.

    They usually go for $1 per gram once they get larger.

    Isn't Canada more strict on importing reptiles? I may have the country confused with another since it's been a while but I though Canada was quite strict... Might be PAM I thinking about...

    I'd agree though, supply and demand. I Have been watching and they fluctuate quite a bit, never more than 150 but still do.

    Here in Ontario I usually see them go for $400-600ish.

    Every Canadian breeder site I go on they are 600-700 dollars. I know I guy in my province that breeds on a small scale and is selling a 250g female for 700.
