general python question

While I love my BPs to death...and the 3 I have are by no means my last....are there any python species known to be a bit more active and outgoing?....thinking of a carpet python as the next step up....

I just have acquired my 1st Carpet. Love her to bits.
If you like BP's Angolans are gorgeous and not that different.
Really it depends on what you want to experience in your snake keeping though.
Maybe some of the boa's are more suitable or even some of the colubrids. (Love me some Indigo, False Water Cobra's and even those little hoggies are cute)
