Weight loss.
I know Ball Pythons do go off of food but I was wondering at what point I should start to get concerned. It's been less than 3 weeks and she has already lost 41 grams.

Re: Weight loss.
What was her start weight? 41g is a poo for my biggest girl @2500g but would be concerning for my 200g little one.

You may need to try live if you were doing frozen, but honestly I think you are still ok. I have seen mine go off for longer than that, but obviously starting weight is a factor, as well as if this was a fat snake at the starting weight or a thin snake at the starting weight. Assuming a healthy snake at 863, and a big poo could indeed be the weight lost, look for other signs for concern (lethargy, URI signs, etc...) and if nothing appears, then 3 weeks is fine. Finally, check your temps and other ambient conditions. If low temp, raise and stabilize temps to help. I always say if you are truly concerned, call a vet.

Just to correct myself: try live as a later resort. I have had balls find they like live enough to start ignoring f/t.
Also, I suggest keeping them on one type of food, rats or mice, not switching back and forth. I never feed mice as I have seen balls become picky and only want mice, which then makes it hard to get their weight up and maintained as they grow.

That's only 4% of her body weight (give or take). For a 150 pound person, that's about 5 pounds. Not that scary.
