Does anyone know of or lets all make one somehow, like a growth chart in grams? Lets say a BP @ birth should weigh?? grams, 1 month should weigh approx. ?? grams, 2 months= ?? grams and so on and so forth. Does anyone have this info or know where to get it?
I just bought a late 03' albino female, like six months old, ( she is tooo friggin' cute and beautiful I might add!!)what should she weigh if she ate good? How much weight should she be gaining if fed properly?
(If any one knows how to post pic's on this forum drop me a line.. wps1@ptd.net, I would love to give you all some eye candy! )
I plan on doing some breeding projects when my snakes mature, but would like a reference to go by. I want to make sure they are all they can be before I attempt to breed them. I have done alot of research, but have found no proper weight records. I completely understand every BP is different, some could be a little more finiky than others. There also is a big difference in what you feed them, like mice or rats.
When I look on say Kingsnake to purchase a snake or just window shop, let's say it's the same age, sex, color morph, etc. but the weights vary by like up to a couple hundred grams. How do you know what the right size weight is? I don't raise them enough to know what I am talking about. Really this little girl is the second baby I ever bought, my spider webbed was the first. Everything else was pretty much an adult. I also know a heavy snake that is power-fed isn't good either.
Is there any breeders out there that could offer thier opinion? That would be greatly appreciated
Maybe we should start a poll if this info isn't available. Like everyone put in an age, sex, and wieght, feeding on? This would be interesting. What do you's think?
