    Question Always moving around

I just got my first normal bp he is young too. I wonder why pretty much every time I take him out of his tank he always moves and wont stop, but if I put him around my neck he only chills there for a bit and then try's to go down my back or somewhere else. Is this normal to always moving around?

Mine is 4mths old and my first Ball. He's always on the move looking around like a nutter, unless I get my camera out then he like to stop and pose haha

    Re: Always moving around

Yep, some snakes do tend to move around more than others. A young one especially may not feel secure in being handled, so it is cruising around to see if there is a place it feels more comfortable hiding. I only have a couple of adult ball pythons that will stay still for any length of time, most of them do tend to move around while they're out.
