Definatly some top notch animals there. Really loving the t+ stuff
I've just gotten back into boas myself. And leopards are a big part of it. The most recent is a pair of DH leopard/t+ and the male is also motley. I'd almost forgotten just how cranky central bci can be, but the male reminds me everytime I go into the snake room and am greated with the sound of loud hissing that isn't coming from the puff adder cage for once lol.

Yes CAs are cranky as little ones, I don't have any in my collection. I remember at some point I told myself I would never have a evil boa in my collection and if a boa was a hisser the moment I walked into a room Id sell them. I did few, but as time went on I got a number of boas that I spent a good chunk of change on and have decided to accept it *le sighs* so now there are a few that great me with their hissing lol I try to keep them on the top shelf so they don't see all the activities. PS to other people reading this bcis are really great natured. If you handle them often as babies they will be great adults. Mine just aren't always handled all the time, sadly..

Well he does love to hiss. But it is just about always followed by the sound of his face banging against the front of the bin. Handling him gently just seems to piss him off even more. In fact I'm not really sure what he looks like with his mouth closed. Even in hand he sit with with his mouth open, starring at my face, hissing and striking. I don't really care either way, but with my luck this one will grow up into a 7' monster that strikes at anything that moves lol. Not what people getting into bci should expect, but defiantly something they should be prepared to deal with just in case. Either way he is a stunning snake, so dark already, and so iridescent. I couldn't be happier with him.
