My adult JCPs-Pics
I got this female from Garrick DeMeyer in 2001. She is a VPI lineage. She is very sweet, but very active when held.

And this is her hubby. I got him from the Learys (Reptilicus) in 2003. He is sweet and calm.

Thanks to the Dr. for telling me how to post pics. Now I just need a better camera!

They both are stunning! How often do you handle them? Are they calm when you try to get them out, or are they a little defensive at first?

Great looking carpets, I was wondering about their temperament as well.

Neither is cage defensive. The male is as easy to pick up as a Ball python. The female always thinks I'm going to feed her. She rushes toward my hand then stops and flicks her tongue on it. When she realizes it's my hand and not a rat, she just lets me do what I want. It was a little disconcerting before I got used to it. I handle them a lot because they are my favorites!

Both are awesome. We have a baby JCP and love her. Can wait til she gets bigger. She's still very small.
