    Preliminary logo sketches

One of my goals while deployed to to come up with a logo or 3 so I can get my website going upon my return. I started doing some preliminary sketches. I had found that most ball python drawings were either too realistic looking or way too cartoony, so I decided to work on something in the middle.

    Initial pencil sketch:

Scanned and colored. I do not have a tablet mouse out here to make it really smooth, but at least I can use some layers in Pixelmator to lay down a few different color designs. I should be able to make it whatever morph I please. This is the first.

Of course this idea will eventually be incorporated into a larger design, but this is a start.

That has a great look to it! What happened to the jester's hat design, I really liked that whole concept, I can't wait to see what you come up with! Nice work!

Oh good, that's going to be one excellent looking logo, I think this new drawing is great, a nice balance of detail and simplicity, keep up the good work!

    Preliminary logo sketches

Looking good Man. Remember to keep it fairly simple because it has to get shrunk for business cards and blown up for posters and what not. Too complicated of a design won't work to well on a card. Looks awesome tho so far!

I have considered the shrinking for business cards and will likely use a bit of a different format for that.
