The big momma! Anyone willing to guess if she looks pregnant or not..? Lol still no babies, but she is very plump! Still no name either.. havnt handled her at all or messed with her on the offhand chance she is pregnant..


After I cleaned Shandy's tank lol she wasnt thrilled..


As you can tell by the glare, she was irritated about being put in the tub then back in her tank *GASP* without eating! lol


She settled for some water instead..

Im not sure, I havnt really messed with her and havnt squished her, I didnt wanna stress her. She is more shy and spazzy than Shandy, you think I should I should see how she feels? She always flattens out when I have to move her so idk how well that would work...

Oh they are AWESOME!! I am reeeally loving these rough scaled sand boas. I definitely think I'm going to hold out for one of these guys. I just like the look a lot better than KSBs. Great pictures - and, yes, that fine lady does look gravid to me! Either that or she really needs to watch her waistline.....

Well you can probably gently feel her underside if you pick her up. Just don't drop her or swing her.

Thank ya I am hoping to acquire some males in June if not sooner, I have my eye set on some very amazing looking ones and hopefully can produce some super light high contrast ones and some very dark chocolaty ones

Me too, they are more distinct looking and they still have that boa head, nothing wrong with a KSB I think I might end up with some of the morphs in the end, they are just to pretty!

Lol well she hasnt really been eating to much and she just keeps getting bigger! My smaller one, Shandy, eats a large mouse and the gravid looking one can only eat a small mouse hopper or she regurgs.. keeping my fingers crossed sometime around June I will have some little surprises waiting in her tank!!

I did, as I said on FB, kind of squishy but its hard to tell because she flattens completely out on me and tenses up real hard damn snake.. I dont mess with her much, only to clean her tank and thats it..

Yep I would love to weigh her but she is just so spazzy and jumpy I prefer to just let her be.. at least until I know for sure she isnt gravid

If you end up with those little bundles of joy, please let me know. I would very much like to get one or two. I can't find them up here AT ALL, plus I'd really like to deal with another BP.netter, lol, than a total stranger. And if it turns out, she is not gravid, I would like to be on a wait list, if possible, for a couple of babies once you do have them.... Thanks very much!!


Btw, these are slightly larger than kenyans right? I mean, I know this gal looks bigger cause she's fat, lol, but I thought I read somewhere where the rssb's are a bit larger than the ksb's. Just curious....
