    Baby ball hasn't pooped

My 6mo old lesser has stopped pooping. He had pooped multiple times, then just stopped. I believe he has 3 meals in him as we speak. So like 15 days no poop.

    Is this bad? Normal?

Should I clean his cage so he "marks" it again?

He will probably be fine. It's normal for them to save up their poop randomly. He will probably have a big one after he sheds.

I don't think cleaning his cage would do anything.

But don't worry. They really are never on a schedule.

I would think the cage should be clean all the time?

Well yes it is, but in another thread they talk why balls deficate after a cage cleaning. I think it has to do with scent.

I wouldn't worry. I have some who poop every 2 weeks like clockwork and some who only poop after they shed. I've even got one who's only pooped in 2 months.

There is no way to predict when they will poop. As long as your ball is eating fine, don't stress over it.

mine only poops when he sheds. It all rolls into one neat little ball so there's no mess. It's quite nice actually.

Sounds pretty normal to me. I would only worry if you can tell he's constipated. If he looks like he's about to poop but doesn't and it feels rock hard then you should worry and try to help him out. Otherwise don't worry about it. You can help him by soaking him in warm water if he's having trouble passing it.
