Is it possible to buy a super pastel for this price?

Ok, so i have said to myself will ONLY OWN 1 bp and thats it. Well that rule
has held up for about 2 years and now i want another. And finding myself setting up another tank.

I Already have Vic for 2 years almost (male pastel) but now i want a FEMALE. But it must be a super pastel. Vic browned out pretty bad i still love him though.

I usually go to the white plans expo here in ny to stock up on supplies, but i refrain from even looking at snakes for sale to not be tempted.

My question is this, what are the chances of me walking into a expo with 200 dollars and walking out of there with a nice female super pastel???

Not going to happen. Maybe walk out with a "possible" super for that price. If you really like the supers why not just save a little longer and get something you really like?

I don't see picking up a super for that price. I just got a great deal on my 500g super pastel for $500. Hatchlings will go for less but finding a nice super pastel will be more than $200, especially a female. Take heart! Save up and wait for the perfect girl

Actually i really like the regular pastels, but i can never find one that is close to perfect, most of the ones i see u can already tell that in a year they will brown out like crazy, if i can find a perfect female pastel i would take it.

And As far as saving up for a
Super, i have the cash, its just
Spending more than 200 dollars on ANOTHER snake after i told myself i would only keep one, taking money out
of my savings account for that is not justified.

They're like potato chips. I told myself one ball python in addition to the snakes I had. Now I have 6 and I'm still shopping.

Re: Is it possible to buy a super pastel for this price?

3 weeks ago I had one snake....I now have 6. It's an addiction, just be wary of that. You'll get your new super pastel and you're done for, you'll instantly want more. I just shelled out almost $600 bucks on my new snakes and I'm a "starving college student" with no job about to graduate. But, once you're hooked, the money won't matter lol. It will be worth it to get exactly what you want and earn back the money later. Or just put money aside specifically for your ideal snake and wait till you have enough set aside for exactly what you want.

Ahhh....the stupidit- I mean, wisdom - of a college student

So what happens when this female you want is old enought to breed? You wont be tempted to breed them? Why do you want a female?

Take that $200 and go find yourself a high quality regular pastel. then in a few years you can make your own super if you like.

Yeh, i will be tempted to breed and more than likely do it just for the experience. Ill sell Of all the hatchlings (not for a profit really, just because i wont be able to be able to care for so many BP's) but still keep mom and pop, and keep it that way. Just mom and pop.

So then it is possible to walk into a expo and walk away with a HIGH quality female pastel? Or is it a stretch?
