    The Black light worked on the BEL's

    Put a black light on the Super Lesser and absolutely white. Then on my Lesser Mojave and saw the the yellow line going down her back. You can't see anything at all until she's under the black lite. Thank for the idea it worked great.

    The reptile expo in Etobicoke had a BEL that showed a full pattern under black light but was straight white under white light.
    I like black.blue eye leucistics and ivories to start with but, that was one (of many) very tempting snakes.
    I would be too tempted to set-up a day-glo tie-dyed habitat for that particular snake though.

    could be infrared/ ultraviolet filters and coatings. Generally that helps for most normal photos.
    Any flash would wash out the blacklight effect also.
    If the snake stays still for a bit try a longer exposure on a tripod, you could get a killer photo everyone will think you have to have photoshopped.

    Yeah I havn't decided which day I'm going but yes I am going but don't know what I'm really looking ofr yet.I just have a cheap Camera. need a good camera for Snake pics. Honestly most of my money goes to fishign stuff so lol.
