    Steamers

I am currently looking into buying a steamer to clean my reptile cages.
Does anyone know of any good ones?

    Steamers

I'm not sure of any good brands.

Just be careful to not warp your tubs. Some of them can get very hot.

do you use cages, tanks, tubs??? the plastics that most are made out of will warp and be rendered unusable by the steaming process...You would have to get a very very good quality steamer that has a very sensitive control system to set the temp for the steam...

it seems easier to just use some elbow grease and a good vet approved/ reptile safe disinfectant

F10 is what I hear people are using.
It is super strong and it's 100% safe for pets as far as I'm aware.

    Re: Steamers

I don't use it on my tubs, but Shark makes the best steam cleaner out there, IMO.

I second the vote for Chlorhexidine. I used to use a bleach/water solution to disinfect, but the chlorhex works SO much better and doesn't have that bleach smell...
