Just a quick pic from today of son and ball python

Here is a recent picture of my son and his ball python taken today. The ball python will be a month old tomorrow (we've owned him a month) He was hatched 2-7-12. He weighed 496 gr the day after a shed and huge dump and pee (gross, didn't know a little snake could do that.) He was 416 the day we brought him home. He has ate 3 times in 3 attempts. A live feeder mouse and recently 2 small rats frozen thawed. The rats were each 50 grams. He was purchased from BHB, can't say enough about them. I always have gotten an email back from Brian anytime I have a question. They are a class act operation and truly care about their snakes and new snake owners.
Anyway as a dad of a six year old who lives and breathes snake and especially his (Mario) I couldn't be more happy. As a side note to those of you who haven't read any previous post of mine. Prior to BHB I was literally paralyzed by the sight of a snake. What a difference the right breeder and a curious son can make. We all ove him even my three year old daughter, ok maybe my wife isn't super excited but even she will hold him once in awhile.
Just thought I'd share as I love seeing pics of members and their snake, errrrr... Ball pythons!

So cute! I love it that the kids are into the snakes Mine act like it's an awesome treat to get to hold them, and once one asks, all three of them have to have a snake to hold! I'm glad the BPs are so easy-going!

Is that a fire? It looks super light and I see a head stamp. Good on you for getting over year fear for the sake of nurturing your son's interest and passion in snakes!

That's awesome! My 3 year old daughter always asks me to show her pictures of "the yellow snake" (albinos) lol she was scared of mine for a while but got over it and really enjoys and always asks to hold clyde now so we will be getting an albino for easter for her

No it is pure ghost! Not sure what that mean, lol. My son looked at every snake on bhb's website and that is the one he chose. Hard to tell in the picks but he is all black and grey. Pics make him look tan/brown. Ill post a better pic of him in a reply. I was trying so,e new camera tricks and it didn't work.
Ive gotten close to ridding my fear. We live in the country and have garter snakes out the you know what. I'm sure they will still startle me and I don't plan on catching any but since my son was three he has loved snakes and sharks! Won't ever own a shark so this will do for now!
