First shed at least for me

Well I pulled my pastel girl out to handle her a bit today and clean her poop out.. Noticed the belly is a nice light pink..

Had her since 1/20/12 and she hasn't shed for me yet.. She has put on 69g with 6 meals in her...

So correct me if I'm wrong but she should go "blue" in the next couple days then clear up and shed as long as all goes well?

I know some don't like to eat in shed but do they typically get a lil more defensive too? She actually nabbed my thumb today for the first time.. I couldn't help but laugh at her as it was like a wet noodle squeezing my finger...

Humodtyy in the winter has been a lil tough for me usually holding between 35/50.. I will be bumping up the misting and plan on wetting a wash cloth to put in there to hold it when I'm not home..

The belly will go pink for anywhere from a few days to a week or so. Most of mine go so pink that it looks like a sunburn! Then their color gets really dull and then they go blue. I usually don't do anything about the humidity until they go blue. Then I bump it up to 60-70% with some damp cypress mulch. I have 2 in shed now and 2 that just shed today.

Sounds like she's going into shed. Good luck! Post pictures when she's got her new skin on.

Got home from work today an those eyes are as blue as my car and she has def gone dull! Looks like its coming any day now..

Best part is today was feeding day and even blind as a bat she whacked her dinner like always and fed like a champ in full on blue

She did totally miss the head tho and I had my pen ready and good thing I did cuz it was trying to get her even bit down on the pen

So whole process took about 6 days. Mayb 5

She hadnt moved from her hide since she ate this past tuesday.. Saw a big ol poop when I woke up this morning and decided to pick up her hide sure enough she was coiled around her shed which at this point was a tiny lil ball..

Im happy to say I must be doing something right cuz it was a solid one peice and was even still soft enough to unravel and see her pattern.

N e way heres a pic of her new skin she's a lil on the browner side for a pastel even at her young age so I hope she doesn't brown to much more but what made me get her was her blushing not the color..
