How to administer Baytril to a BP

I've gotten ahold of Baytril to start treatment on the snake with RI that I've taken in, my question is, where exactly do I inject the snake? I know muscle but I'm nervous about it. Is there a certain spot that's safer? And I know to go under the scales.

Injection without knowledge is never a good thing.
If the method is intra-muscular expect a seriously peeved snake. If you have had an IM injection you will know why, they sting and fast injection stings more.
Also, all air bubbles must be ejected from the needle and, a small "draw-back" must be performed to ensure you have not injected into an artery or vein.
Better yet, get someone familiar with injections to help you.

No offense, but if you are really unsure and don't know anything about injecting a snake, the safest spot would be at a vet's office....

How do you "get a hold of" Baytril without going to a vet (I'm assuming)?

Your vet should have showed you how to administer the first dose. At our clinic, we show how to give the first injection, and if they are AT ALL nervous or unsure, they can come in and we will administer the injections at no charge. If you didn't get it from a vet, you shouldn't be using it.

Upper third of the body, feel for the spine and inject into the the muscle along either side. Try to get in between scales if you can. Baytril is tricky, because you want to get it deep enough that you don't cause skin reactions (which is the main cause of scarring from Baytril), but you don't want it too deep either. It's best if you have two people, one to hold the head and one to poke.

nebulize it, that is what my vet recommended because the problem of tissue damage and prescribed separate medications for injection. find a good vet and I wish you the best. I had to give my baby BP injections for three weeks and had to have a friend help because she was too small to hold in my hand and inject. If you are careful, which sounds like you are, it should be fine just make sure you are informed before you start a stressful situation. I was more nervous at first and that anxiety seemed apparent to by baby girl.
