First Shed

Sophie is about to shed for the first time since we've had her (the eyes are cloudy, so should be w/in the next few days), what do ya'll suggest we put in her enclosure for something to rub on? They should have something to rub against, correct?

It's a good idea to provide something to rub on that's slightly abrasive, yes, like a cleaned rock (soak in 5% bleach solution overnight, rinse, and let dry), textured hide, piece of AstroTurf, or even something wackier like a coconut, as long as it's free of bugs, somewhat abrasive, but not dangerously sharp.

Its stange but both my snakes went into a shed cycle at the same time.

Not so strange if you feed them on a similar schedule.

LOL, yeah I read it. Sometimes mine shed at the same time. I chalked it up to feeding schedule, but maybe it IS conspiracy ... hmmm ...
