Hi!

Well, I'm expanding my snake collection very soon and with that comes many other costs. I am thinking about switching my bedding. Right now I use Repti-Bark for my two ball pythons and Aspen for my King and Corn Snake. Though, with another two ball pythons on the way, I realize that I will be spending a ton on substrate.

I know cypress mulch is an option. But it's surprisingly very hard to find in Toronto, Canada. And since it is winter, most of the gardening sections are closed.

So, I was online looking for places that would ship to Canada for pretty cheap and checking stores in Canada.

Home Hard Ware has something called Natura BeyondMulch. I researched it a little and people say that it's made of coconut coir fibers and chunks of coconut shell. I've heard of other substrates that have coconut fibers.

Do you think that this will be safe for my snakes, both Ball Pythons and King/Corn Snakes?

Excuse my ignorance on this. I've only ever used Repti-Bark and Aspen because they were recommended to me by the breeders I got my snakes from.

Any tips on cheap substrate is much needed right now. And the links for
Natura BeyondMulch are down below.

Thanks in advance.
