feeding inside terrarium or in seperate container?
i have always fed my snakes in a seperate container specifically for feeding because when i first started keeping snakes 8 years ago many believed this would prevent agression when you reach inside their terrarium. now that im a part of this forum, i was curious to see what other thought of this. i really dont think it needs to be done, if you snake feels agressive itll bite you when you go to put it in the feeding container, and have been thinking about feeding them inside their terrariums.

feeding inside terrarium or in seperate container?
I have tried both and the animals become a little irritated when moved from tub to another tub then back after eating. So I've been feeding in their own homes for a while now and none of them have become aggressive, not even the boas!!! But you do what you feel comfortable doing, that is the true right way!!

I feed everyone inside their enclosure: even the boas, retic, and bloods know when it's food time and when it's handle time.

I feed all of my (11) bp's in their tubs. None have them have shown "cage aggression". Some of them are hissy butts, but they don't care if it's feeding time or not, they just enjoy hissing at me. While others are sweeties.
IMO feeding in a separate enclosure is not my ideal set up is this - Ball pythons are notorious for being picky eaters, they seem to feel more comfortable inside their home tubs than being moved for feeding. Secondly, I really do not feel comfortable playing the grab game with pythons who are in "FOOD" mode.
There are plenty of people that feed in a separate container, and it works wonderfully for them. This is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt
