I recently switched out our bedding for our sand boa from sand to Aspen shavings. he loves it and I felt good about knowing it was better for him. BUT in the last week I've had a severe allergic reaction to the Aspen! I'm a dummy...it's taken me a week to realize that's what's giving me so much trouble. So....my question is, how dangerous is it to switch him back to sand? He never gets fed in his tank, but always in a clean feeding box used only for feeding time. He's not ingesting sand. If sand isn't a good option what are my other choices? I have a lot of seasonal allergies so I'm thinking any kind of plan matter is probably not a good idea for me. And suggestions or thoughts??
