Got BP's new habitat set up

I finally got the glass door lock for the Showcase habitat the other day (thank you The Bean Farm!). I managed to get the habitat for a sweet deal from a guy locally. Buddy likes it so far and I am hoping to add something near the cooler side where the top seems to be a bit higher since it appears that Buddy likes to climb. I originally had him in a 40 Gal breeder but found that it was really hard to keep the set up on the warm side so I went with this habitat instead. I purchased an UTH from Zoo Med but it's not rated for plastic tanks according to their warning label that came attached to the heater. So I will have to keep an eye on that to make sure there aren't any heat issues. If there is, I might end up getting a RHP instead and see if that works better.

I have included a picture of the set up but haven't relocated the thermo's or the hygrometer to this habitat. The paper that is at the top of the glass is there to keep the doors from rattling since this is on my workstation desk in the home office. This habitat measures 36x24x24.

I wanted to know, can I use driftwood that has been sanitized for a climbing apparatus for him or does it have to be grapevine?

If you're UTH is regulated with a thermostat it should have no issues being in contact with plastics.

I'm not sure about the drift wood. I think if you were to bake it that it would be fine.
