i recently renovated a rack i had built for my sub adult boas. the original rack held four 96quart rubbermaid snaptoppers. i had a 7 inch gap in between each for a dome light that i set on the shelf above each bin. i cut out a hole for the dome light and put wire screen on from underneath. which made those pieces unable to work with for the renovation. so i removed the screen and cut out wood from leftover plywood and filled each hole. i recently realized that 16qt sterilites fit into the gaps with the dome light perfectly. so i decided to just redo the rack to hold 16 qt bins. i spaced the last three shelves to house 41 qt sterilites for now until i have more holdbacks, then i can just adjust those three shelves so the whole rack will hold 16qts. the finished product is the same dimensions as before but now it holds more racks with more shelves. its 79x34x17 and made out of oak plywood.
here it is before i got started
and once i got started
