I haven't heard of a gun that measures humidity. You can get a "gun" that measures just temps for $25 from LLLReptile.

WalMart has an "indoor/outdoor" thermometer that measures both temps and humdity at both ends of your enclosure at the same time...and they are only around $15. The unit has to remain in the cage, though.

The one I bought at Walmart that stays in the cage doesnt read temp and humidity on both end of your enclosure, just temp and humidity on the unit, and temp at a probe you can place at the other end. The only ones i've seen that measure temp and humidity on both ends have remote probes run more than $15 unless you've got a great Walmart. Whats the deal JLC?

I had one of those i cut the probe off and just put the whole thing in the cage. And put one that just tells the temp at the other end. You can get those infrared temp guns from Radio Shack.
    Thanks,

I don't like Radio Shack IMO they over charge far to much. And they are a female dog to deal with. I advise against going to Radio Shack.

I agree with Andrew on Radio Shack, and yes, the units from WalMart only read humidity on the unit itself, not on the probe, but humidity doesn't have to be as tightly controlled as temperature and if your humidity is good on one side of your enclosure, it should be good on the other unless your enclosure is way too big for a ball python anyhow. Wendy, welcome to the forum, and if you have a WalMart nearby, that's probably your best bet. if not, I would check hardware stores as being a likely place to carry digital indoor/outdoor thermometer-hygrometer combos without charging ridiculous prices for them.
