Probably just doesnt want to eat and is just seeing what new thing is in his cage tonight. Leave it over night in case he takes it later (if not remove it of course the next morning!). My BP last night did the same thing, no reason to summon priests of Igbob quiet yet!

also i wanted to talk about how he opened up his mouth and goes straight upwards sometimes, idk if he's trying to breathe and has some mucous or what,

it was only one time with the mouth thing but its possible, the owners had three of them in 1 cage, with 1 hide.. i made the fatal mistake of buying from a place like that although i love my new bp... also this is his second week eating, i already removed it.. ill go an buy a mouse slightly smaller..

    You did thaw it, yes?

I only ask because I have heard of people now thawing out the food and it killing their snake.

As for the eyes, blue eyes indicate a shed cycle. Green eyes is a trait common of pastels. Is your snake a pastel perhaps? Do you have a picture?
