    Incubator done

    Got my package (herpstat + flexwatt) in today and finish setting up the incubator.

    Incubator done

    The silver tape is aluminum tape that is usually used for duct work but works great for this application. It's very sticky and very thin. You can get it at almost all hardware stores.

    Looks good, but I don't see a fan. If you don't have something to circulate the air, it will get several degrees hotter on the top. Even the smallest of incubators have some type of air circulation. Here is a good place to get the fans: http://www.coolerguys.com

    You can also get a variable speed cord so you can adjust the airflow. Good luck!

    Is there any reason you went with just one heat tape on the back instead of one on each side?
    I am going to need to set up my fridge soon and wondered if there was a reason. I will be putting a fan and some water bottles in mine.

    Haha I was waiting for someone to point it out! That's the last thing I need before she is ready to be tested. (And water bottles) thank you!!

    The shelves would not be able to slide in If i put it coming down both sides. It was considered at first though. Yes fan and water bottles a must! Good luck on yours
