Playing Favorites

We all do it so some extent, we all have that one herp of our collection that we like slightly more then the others. You might not even notice you do it So, which of your collection is your favorite?

Mine is Goldy, my high gold female. She's a beaut in terms of color, high goldness is nice. The bright yellow is contrasted by pure black, so she looks real cute. She's also got nice stripping along her back. She has by far the best personality too.

Mine has to be Goblin. He is nothing special in the looks department, but he is the most personable, laid-back snake I own. If you take him out for handling, he'll sit in one spot like a lap-dog and actually watch TV. He also has the best feeding response out of all my bps!

Hmmm, favorite, I guess I show a littl efavoritism to my leopard gecko. S/he is just so cute the way he plops down and lays on his belly in his moist hide. He runs around his tank like he's hunting something and comes to the side of the tank when I walk up.

As a species, my personal favorites are my ATBs......but my Sonoran Desert Boas are close as well. For colubrids, my Western Hognose is definitely my favorite.

I'm understandably partial to my little blood - but the Sudanese Plated Lizard wins in the mellow "gone hang with you, mon" department.

As long as it is NOT Wednesday - Neph' the AfRock (Wednesdays are no good for handling - that's her massive p00/urate fest).

For bp's, Snyder. After nursing her back to health from the miserable state she was in, she has to win my heart. For the crested geckos, Scooby, kinda for the same reason -- we bonded when I had to clean his mouth out after he stuffed it full of substrate and now he'll hop onto my hand pretty quickly. Don't tell the others, though, they'll be jealous.
