You should try to take some better shots at some point. Like a picture of his belly, back, and both sides. That pattern looks definitely interesting though.

    DInker or more ?

Thats a het pied for sure. Het Pieds tend to have a very different pattern than just a "normal".

Kevin Mccurley has said many times that he thinks of the "het pied" gene as "almost" a pattern mutation on its own. Especially when mixed with the right stuff. (And of course we never know what that "right stuff" ever is)

My het pied has the same look, on the lower half of her body only though. It could definitly be more than a "Normal" just wanted to share that with you in case you had never heard it before. I was kinda hopeful too when ifirst picked up my girl. Now im content with knowing shes just a cool looking Het.

    Hope thathelps a little

That changes everything I thought I already learned.. What happened to "het" meaning it had one of the two genes to be visible.. If het pieds have their own look wouldn't a visual pied bu a super version making the pied gene a co Dom ?

Maybe I'm way off base here but maybe someone could clarify this further

Some people think that het pieds influence patterns and have markers that you can see. The het pied markers aren't 100% accurate but they have helped people prove out some dinkers that way. You are correct about "if you can tell its a het pied then it should be a co-Dom morph" but its super subtle that its easily missed. Also I don't know if its been proven 100% but all the facts that I have read point to leopards being a new line of co-Dom het pied.
