Can't Figure Out How Many Breeders I Need

    Hey guys,

I've been breeding rats for a couple years now and have been doing pretty well. However, ever since I expanded I almost always run short of feeders, no matter how many more breeders I get. And I do not want to be unprepared for hatching season.

So can anyone tell me approx. how many groups of 1.4 is needed for the following every week:

    50 smalls
    100 pups

    Really appreciated.

You basically want to have 1 female rat for each snake you have.

Will this include upcoming hatchlings, though? Or just 1 rat per breeder/holdback? If the latter, then how do you figure out potential hatchling volume?

    Thanks.
