Getting a new rescue tomorrow, poor snake.

Tomorrow I will be bringing home another down and out bp. He is two years old and only 1 1/2 ft long. When I asked what he was eating, how often and the last time he ate the only information I was given was "He comes with a tank bedding a water bowl and a heat rock and eats live". I have one picture of him and it's not very good but by the looks of it my baby is a mammoth compared to him. that's him.

I'm removing the heat rock as soon as I get him and he has his own heat lamp waiting for him, as well as two new hides. Since he is so small and hasn't eaten in who knows how long what do you suggest I offer him. Will his size/weight ever catch up or is he just going to be small? Any other suggestions, help will be greatly appreciated. I just want to get this boy healthy and happy.

I'd go with a rat fuzzy since he's basically '12 hatchling size by the sound of it.

Not to be rude, but I initially intended my post to be in this forum and since I can't delete the accidental post in the other forum I simply reposted where I wanted it to be. If it bothered you so horribly you could have just bypassed it while you were skimming through the other repetitive and redundant posts. You never HAD to read anything but the title. I have not come across a rule that states that I can not do this and if there is one than please point me in the direction of it. Thank you.

I suppose I wasn't very nice about it. And I suppose I didn't need to say anything. But one other person did it tonight and it made me mad. When I saw it a second time, my thumbs went off on their own.

    I apologize.

Re: Getting a new rescue tomorrow, poor snake.

Thank you for apologizing, this is the first time I have double posted and I try to be one of the people who search for an answer instead of asking what has been asked a million times. I understand it is annoying and seeing the same things 20 posts in a row gets old fast. But in this case it pertains to the specific condition of a specific animal and If you can offer any insight on the best method to get this snake up to where he should be health wise I would appreciate it.
