    white bugs and eggs?!?!?!

i bought this awesome pvc enclosure from a petstore
today i started "modding it" you could say
tearing off the screen top to put solid top on....
i cleaned this cage with a bleach solution right when i brought it home hot water and scrubbed the eff out of it.
the cage has been in another room seperate from my snakes since i got it
as im tearing up the screen and the pvc strips over the screen edges i see....
THESE LITTLE WHITE BUGS AND FUZZY LITTLE EGGS!!!!
    MITES?!
im fairly certain i havent contaminated any of my snakes....but i would be willing to do a preventative treatment....
i figured the bleach would have killed anything off....
    what should i doooo?!?!?!

    Re: white bugs and eggs?!?!?!

    i do not have photos
there were only about five of them, bugs and eggs
and my first instinct was to obliterate them with my finger and put rubbing alcohol on them lol
i searched a bit online after the post and they kind of looked a bit like wood mites/lice?
but i read that the first stage of mite they are white then turn the darker colors....:/

Could have been something that laid the eggs after you cleaned it.

My first thought was wood mites as well. They're annoying but ultimately not harmful to your snake.
