Venomous Training Expo in MD!
I don't know if any of you have heard of this, but if you're in Maryland it's definitely something worth checking out!

Plus the infamous Viperkeeper is one of the speakers, and a few of his animals will be on display there as well.
I was soooo happy to hear this is in Maryland, I'm gonna do my damndest to get to it!!

I mean I don't plan on having venomous snakes for pets either, but since I want to be a vet any experience with reptiles is a great opportunity for me, I think. It also would be nice to have experience in the offchance that I become like a zoo vet or something like that, because I'm sure they'd have at least a few venomous animals at places like that.
Plus I'm sure a lot of the techniques can still be applied to non-venomous snakes as well.

Drat!! Wish I lived in MD.....
I agree - this is a wonderful opportunity to learn and I also think some techniques could be applied to non-venomous. I love opportunities like this to broaden my experience and learn and grow. Wish I could go................
