With a twist...
So for the last couple of months, I've been doubting whether or not my male was actually male. He probes barely male (5 or 6 scales...I can't remember which) and doesn't pop male. Upon realizing that I can't properly pop, I didn't try again (I don't want to hurt him) and I've been looking for a teacher with no luck. So, I've been preparing for the day that I might have to call "Jax" by a new name: "Jackie". So questioning my male's sexuality, I had a friend ask me if we wanted to do a breeding loan. I agreed and warned him that I wasn't sure if my male was actually male, but I was willing to try and see.
So, this morning, I woke up to this:
I got excited. I couldn't tell if this was a lock, but I had a suspicion it was just really close to one. I was right. I checked on them a bit later to find him courting her by tickling her with his spurs. I left them alone and checked on them one last time tonight and found this:
I do believe this is my official first lock! Pairing is a Lesser x Pastel. Both are virgin breeders. We're both shooting for pastel lessers...so hopefully the genetics god will give us a male and female for us.
