    Post Caught in the act

I've seen a ton of locks this season. Usually a sign of good things to come. A few stats - the female is a pastel and was around 3000 grams at the start of the season. The male is a pastel jungle x spider and I think 1600 grams at the start of the season.

Both adults look good. Good luck with them! I hope you get some killer bees!

Thanks. I have my fingers crossed for supers. The bee really stayed bright. I've seen a lot of bees turn brown after only a few years. This guy is is around 5 years old and still has lots of yellow. I picked him up from Markus jayne as a hatch-ling.
