Hallo! New to the forums, not to reptiles. (:

I normally don't bother with introductory threads, but why not. Hello everyone.

I'm Kelsey/Kelly/Nyxxi/Nyx, any variants thereof, a highschool senior living in Macon, Georgia. Soon to be attending Macon State University. My family and I've had reptiles of all sorts since I was little, and my dad used to run animal maintenance at a petstore, so we've always had some sort of reptilian around the house, be it savannah monitors, knight anoles, or his basilisk.
I personally owned a black ratsnake for the past seven years, and now I'm looking into buying a ball python.

Thought I'd join up here, look around, see if I couldn't learn anything new before I bought my new pet.. so, here I am.

Hallo! And welcome to the forum. Ask lots of questions, read care guides, and learn all you can before getting your ball python. Just about any question can think of has already been asked so you can use the search bar to find them and their results.

Alright, shall do! Thank you. Yeah, I'm coming into it with basic snake-care information, just have to get the specifics of the breed down. They seem like absolutely amazing snakes to have..

I'm definitely not getting a fancy morph for my first snake (oh, so much money... my poor, poor paycheck!), but I love Mojaves, Calicos, Clowns and Killerbees. Fires are really nice too. I think my favorite morph is the Mystic Potion though. Absolutely gorgeous animals.

I'm on my way to my first breeding project being Spider Mystic Potions. So far it's only been done once. And the Spider Mojave male I bought was from the very same guy who did it. He was offering a male and female Spider Mystic Potion babies for 3500$-4500$. I can't wait to get to work on these.

Oooh, good luck with that. The genetics are going to be a bit tricky, but it'll be awesome if you can produce one. I bet they're gorgeous.
