I have a related question .. I have seen this same male in a "lock position" with one of my females for an entire day now .. however on closer inspections he doesn't have hemipenes inside of her .. he is just doing the "legs-up-and-down-thing" .. has anyone ever actually witnessed hemipenes inside a female when they lock-up? and also is it possible for them to mate a bit and then he leaves her and does the leg-dance-thing again? how long does the actual mating without "foreplay" last? also what are the signs that they have actually mated? any more advice here would be appreciated
    regards, Andrej
