    Extensive soaking...

    Ok here is a thing....

Last 3 days i find My YB male sitting in his large ceramic water bowl...

My first suspicion was mites.... but I've checked water inside the bowl and whole snake carefully find no trace of little buggers... and i don't introduced any new snakes for while... so...

Setup is 30Qt RBI rack low temp 80 high 84-85... no hide...

He gulp yesterday medium rat without issue.... and I put large RBI Hide... no water bowl....

He snug inside hide happy and comfy (at least i was thinking that) so I put water bowl again today morning... I came back from work he sitting again inside water bowl...

He never behave like that before...

I really don't know what to think about it...

    Any Ideas ??

Do you have a snug, round shaped hide that you can try? Maybe he wants to feel something all the way around him. I had a big female that preferred to curl up under a round plastic bowl, rather than the RBI hides.

He never did it before so I'm really surprised... I wonder if He is too hot??
My balls always from some reason like it little colder during winter
I usually have my low 78-77 my high 82-84 at this time..... water inside bowl was 80.5.... my ambient in room is 77 because temp raised a little in NYC last couple days and i usually have 70-72 during winter in my room...
