a reptile show. there you'll have a wide variety to choose from and most will let you handle them before you buy so you can get a good idea of its temperament.

    Boa Help

I would strongly recommend checking out JimiSnakes, BoaMaster, etc. they have really nice boas.

I got my salmon redtail from JimiSnakes and he is gorgoeus and growing lile a weed. There are many quality boas on the market, you can get them shipped or at reptile expos.

If you are in Chicago, IL I would go to this: http://www.repticon.com/chicagoland.html

There should be some boas there and it's coming up soon. If you were looking for something a further out, I would wait until Tinley in March.

I haven't been to Repticon yet, but I will be going to the one coming up.

Shows are great! I browse kingsnake a lot and usually end up browsing breeder websites from the links provided at the bottom of ads

Manny at Perfect Predators if you want to go with a high end morph, if you want to go with a casual normal your best bet is going to be a trade show as others have mentioned. However, def browse the classifieds at www.kingsnake.com and www.faunaclassifieds.com to see if you see anything that catches your eye. It will give you an idea of what to look for at the shows.

Re: Where to get my boa

^^^ perfect predators has some killer looking animals on KS but killer prices to for a family man. lol Lots of choices on KS and Fuana. if you want to have one shipped check out Special K reptiles. They advertise on KS. they are from Ohio but they do hit shows near enough to you that you maybe able to pick up at a show and save shipping. not sure how far your direction they go for sure. Good luck and hope you find what you are looking for.

I got my normal male from Big apple herp .com and am very happy with him. I would suggest taking your time and figure out if there is any particular line you would like, BCC, BCI, there are also a lot of normals that come out of breeding projects so you have a lot of options. If I were looking today I might go with a Guyanese locality because of the deep red in the tails. Happy hunting!
2.0 Red Tail Boa (BCC) - Neil, Hermes (Suriname)
0.1 Normal Ball - Moonlight (RIP)
    1.0 BEL (lesser x mojave)
    0.1 Pinstripe - Starlight
    1.1 Dogs - Champ, Megan
