can 2 ball pythons females lock?

I have heard of 2 males locking, however I am wondering if it is possible for 2 females to lock? .. or is it just not in their nature to do so
    thank you and best regards

Lmao! I suppose if there was some hormone defficiency then they might try but I don't think they could actually enter eachother unless they were hermaphradidic.

I've never heard of 2 females locking.

Like you said, males will as a dominance thing...

I've never heard of it happening, but these guys never go by the book so I suppose it could happen, but it's highly unlikely.

I don't know if they'd try, but (and I am not in any way science-minded so I could be wrong here) I dont think that they physically could...they don't have anything to lock with.

They do try. I've housed females together, and breeding females in particular will often curl together and align their tails as if they're trying to lock. I have pictures somewhere if you want to see it.

But I never saw it anywhere near as often as I saw it when I had my males together in a bachelor tank. And there was little to no wrestling from the girls.
