    F10 questions

I bought some f10 disenfectant and was wanting to use it as a general cleaner but the directions say to clean my tubs and tanks with a cleaner and rinse then apply F10 solution and let dry. Do any of you use this product and how do you use it?

I clean first with either green soap or chlorohex and then wipe down with F10 weekly.

I actually use the F10 cleaner (F10scDX) but I am fairly certain that any decent soap or detergent (dawn dish soap) will work.

Remove all the loose bits then wash down with soap and water rinse really well, and dry then SATURATE all surfaces with F10 for at least ten min. and then return the cage things. I actually dry the f10 as 'saturated' leaves a puddle and I like to mop it up some.

The only way to know if the disinfectant will work is to follow the instructions carefully. Failure to do so will not be effective and in the worst case generate 'super' bacteria that are resistant to F10.
