Ball Python Locks?

Hello

This is my first year of breeding ball pythons and I have cooled them all down and i just introduced a pair yesterday. I have a first time breeder Spider female that is 1600 grams and I'm breeding it with a proven breeder Male Pastel that weighs about 600 grams. I have school and I have no way of knowing if they bred or not. When I come home normally I see them curled up on opposite sides of the cages. I was wondering if there is any way of telling if the snakes have locked while I was gone.

I got two clutches last year that I never saw a lock out of.
I don't worry about it, if it happens then cool but there is nothing you can do to make them go.

I have only had pairs produce a few times without seeing them lock. Eager males will usually go 12-48 hours at a time....I have a couple of males that I swear breed 3-4 days straight. Just give them time apart if they are separated in the enclosure. I usually do 3-4 days together and 3-7 days apart. It mostly depends on how the male is acting. Good luck.
