    Also they are quite a pretty penny.

    edit: I'd like to add that it seems most of the hybrids I've seen for sale have actually been Borneo short tailed python x BP crosses. That's not to say there haven't been any red/black blood crosses though. I think that's another reason they call them 'Superballs' as opposed to 'Blood Balls'.

    They may not be as willing to sell them off to keep the blood lines pure. Superballs can reproduce, leading to junked up genetics. They don't want just anyone breeding one.

    I think the black blood/ball cross is called the mongrel ball. Out of all the pics I can find online, the hybrids all seem to be normal bp's crossed with bloods; I wonder if anyone has crossed a blood with a pastel, or spider?
