    Bowl wrapping

My pastel has been locking since early November and I'm noticing she is coiled up on tip of her bowl is this a sign of follicle building she doesn't appear to be much bigger in her mid section. But this is in usual for her normally she seeks the warm area in the tub.

A good sign of building, but the ovy will be the thing to look out for to give you a better time table. Ive seen my normal girl bowl wrapping every now and then and she has been paired for 6 months. Still waiting for that Ovy!!

Don't they do it to cool themselves? Because the cooling stimulates follicles maturing ?

They bowl wrap during follicle growth, and yes they can take 6 months to ovy from start of pairing, it's not common but every year we have a few females go that long from first lock up to ovy ...
